Issei Fujita, a Japanese designer who is now located in Italy since 1999. After joining Carpe Diem, he took charge of materials and visual media. He founded Lumen et Umbra in 2006. The brand’s name meaning “Light and Shadow” in Latin. In the same year, he used the technique of Lighting (from developing photographs) for T-shirt designs, as he announced 5 models in Paris. From July to October of the same year, he announces both Men’s and Women’s collection in Milan/Paris.
