Dipiù was founded in 1991 by Pierangelo Mauri. After being in the business since 1972, first as Director of EMI Music Publishing Italy and then as A&R Director of EMI Music Italy, he started his own publishing company by acquiring foreign catalogues and in 1995 he started a Record Label specialized in Funky-House.
