Greenshields Project Cargo set up in Livorno as a logistic and transport services company specialized in project cargo and later in handling perishable goods too.
Greenshields Project Cargo was established in 1992 with the merger of Greenshields Cowie and Project Cargo, whose business had began in the 70’s. Greenshields Cowie is amongst UK oldest freight forwarding companies which, since 1975, had been a subsidiary of Crown Agents, an internationally recognised procurement company established more than 175 years ago.
Thanks to the cooperation with this group, working both in public and private fields (organisations such as the World Bank, the European Union and other international humanitarian aid agencies) our company became more and more skilled in delivery duty paid above all for those destinations where the lack of proper logistic infrastructure obliges to work out a feasibility project prior to shipment.
